DESCRIPTION:Booths are 10×10 and artists need sunshade and display table. We will waive the booth fee for Iowa artists this year. They can sign up for one or both days. We have housing for Friday night through our members. If Interested or have questions  please contact Anne Kohlhaas 515-341-0390. There are approximately 40 booths in all with art and high quality crafts.

SUMMARY:Iowa Artists Region 7 Intro To Scratchboard
DESCRIPTION:What is Scratchboard? \nThe scratchboard technique is a two-dimensional subtractive process. It involves the use of abrasive tools to directly remove a surface layer of one value (typically dark) to expose a second layer (typically white). The values within the artwork are predominantly achieved by varying the amount of surface layer that has been scratched away or left. You will also be learning how to apply color. \nClick here for more details including registration information IA-workshop-r7- \nAdditional Class Information \nMaterial Fee: $15 is payable to the instructor at the start of the workshop. You will be receiving everything that you will need to work on your pieces in class and complete your final project at home. \nThis workshop is free (not including supply fees) to current Iowa Artists members. For non-members\, it’s $25.00 (not including supply fees). You may join the group if you like. You will be billed at the time of registration. Iowa Artists offers Regional Art Shows in the spring and other events during the year.
